If you think someone is being abused, it’s very important to tell the right people in Illinois who can look into it and help right away.
Key Accomplishments
Local girl stays in neighborhood school with help from the clinic
A 6-year-old girl with autism stayed in her local kindergarten class after the clinic represented her in a hearing, instead of being sent to a separate school 30 miles away as the district had recommended.
Teen stays in school with help from Parent Helpline
A 16-year-old student with feeding tubes stayed at his local school after surgery, instead of a separate residential placement, because his parent advocated for his rights with help from the Parent Helpline
